Often grown as a biennial, this short-lived perennial with delight with clusters of sweetly scented flowers atop a stiff upright stem from June through to September. Flowers come in many colours from white to pinks to the darkest red, often in bicolour combinations, with the darker eyes and toothed petals characteristic of pinks and carnations. Great for beds, mixed borders or containers.
