DetailOne plant suppliedHardy Fuchsia's can survive outside in most of the UK gardens without the need for protection over winter. These fuchsia's tend to have an upright habit with the stems arching towards the tips, under the weight of the flowers. Compact forms can be used in containers and at the front of borders. Taller varieties are great for flowering hedges or in the middle of the border. Fuchsia's have large intricate flowers with reflex petals, usually two colours, Red/Purple, Blue/White, Red/White and Pink/Red, and are hardy in most UK gardens. They flower from May until the first frosts and will grow into a bushy shrub. Popular shrubs they display great colour and perform well year after year. A good choice for a flowering hedge, large containers as well as mixed borders, the are easy to grow.

Needs sun part of the day. They don't well in excessively dry or wet soils, shelter from strong, cold winds, will not flower in deep shade. Cut back stems to 20cm above ground level in early Spring.
