DetailOne plant suppliedWashingtonia robusta (Mexican Fan Palm) is a stately palm with a slender trunk that swells considerably at the base on a mature specimen. Displaying spiky, large fan shaped leaves with leaflets that grow up to 1.5m long and are borne on spine edged petioles to 1m long. Long sprays of small white flowers are borne on hanging, branching stems to 3m long and followed by dark brown fruits. This 15L plant is tender and ideal for growing in conservatories and greenhouses.
